Comments by Computers (voice)

The text for Comments by Computers was taken from the comments sections of websites and blogs, where spam bots had left the most “human” sentences their algorithms could produce. These comments each took on their own unique character: honest, poetic, joyful, pleading. The comments’ use as lyrics led to these mezzo-soprano and piano miniatures, so that each “writer” might have their own distinct, musical voice.
