Graphic Climate

Graphic Climate (2023) was commissioned by Krista Kopper and explores the polarizing way in which we as a society discuss climate change. This graphic score encourages improvisers to express the segmentation of debate, the urgency of timeline, and the intersection of the natural and humanmade worlds. Score features include a visualization of carbon atoms blossoming into six-petaled flowers, reflective of the element’s atomic number, and the supposed advancement of society through building, counting, assessing, excavating, dominating, competing, and reconfiguring.
